Thomas Belesis believes that there will be a resolution to the fiscal cliff. “The negatives far outweigh any unwilling compromise,” he says, stating a decrease in GDP and a rise in unemployment if no deal is reached. Because President Obama is no longer fighting for re-election, Belesis believes he is in a better position to bring Congress together to do what’s right for the economy.
